Quilt Class: One Block Wonder

One Block Wonder Quilt Class

Join Instructor, Megan, in a One Block Wonder quilt.  A One Block Wonder Quilt uses one fabric and hexagons to create a unique, one of a kind quilt. The designs and possibilities are endless. The hexagons create a kaleidoscope style block and are so much fun to create! We will be using 60 degree triangles and straight seams (no Y seams) to create the blocks. We will only create the quilt top in class, and there will be parts that will need to be finished at home before the next class. Megan is available to help finish the quilting process if needed! The class is for beginner quilters and beyond! Knowledge of your sewing machine is required

Supplies Needed:

60 degree triangle ruler, a ruler, cutting mat, sewing machine, thread, and pins. Megan will also bring supplies to share, but it will be easier if you have your own supplies. I promise, once you make one, you will want to make many, many more!! All fabric will need to be purchased: 4 yards that has a 24" repeat. Fabric for the borders and backing for the quilt will need to be purchased separately after creating the quilt top.  You will need to bring your own sewing machine.

This is a 3 week class- each session will be three hours from 1pm-4pm

Dates: Sunday 6/3, Sunday 6/10, Sunday 6/24
